What is Electrolysis

🏆 The ONLY FDA & AMA approved method for permanent hair removal

Electrolysis a permanent hair removal method that uses a fine probe to deliver an electrical current to individual hair follicles, destroying the cells responsible for hair growth. This process permanently disables the follicle, preventing future hair regrowth

How does it work?

  1. A very thin, single-use, sterile probe is inserted into the hair follicle.
  2.  An electrical current is applied, either through a direct current (galvanic electrolysis), a high-frequency alternating current (thermolysis), or a combination of both (blend electrolysis).
  3. The hair is then removed with tweezers, with little to no resistance.
  4. Because hair grows in cycles, multiple treatment sessions are necessary to target all follicles in a given area.  This current damages or destroys the follicle, preventing hair regrowth

Understanding Hair Growth Phases

Hair grows in three distinct phases. Electrolysis is most effective during the active growth phase, which is why multiple sessions ensure complete, permanent results.

Why Does Growth Cycles Matter to You?

Because hairs grow at different rates and are in different cycles at any given time, it takes a series of consistent appointments to catch each hair in its most vulnerable (Anagen) phase. This is why we'll work with you to create a personalized treatment plan to ensure every hair is permanently treated for the best results.
